What is Pawning?

Pawning is a typical transaction when a customer brings in an item(s) he/she wants to borrow money against.  The Pawnbroker must determine the value of the item(s) and decide how much money to give the customer.

Why should I use a pawn shop?

Pawnshops are an excellent source of convenient credit for a person in need of a short-term collateral loan.

Does the Lynchburg Pawn Shop buy diamonds?

Yes.  We have a GIA Graduate gemologist on staff whose sole purpose is to grade stones.

How much will you give me for my item?

Due to the many factors that play into the pricing for an item, please bring the item into the store for a price.
