The Fort Worth stamp left the neck plates when the Model Series ended in 1989, and the sequence drifted through the 3xxxxx range on the Classic, Contemporary, Fusion, and Professional series and the Surfcaster. The Surfcaster registry imagines a barrel of neck plates with employees picking one at random, so serial position correlates only loosely with time.
